Frances Jane (Powers) Farmer

Frances Jane Powers Farmer, age 80 of Creston, died Saturday, January 2, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Farmer was born February 8, 1940 in Ashe County to the late Henry Dale and Rosa Belle Eldreth Powers. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Powers. Frances was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. She loved volunteering for mobile meals for Ashe Outreach. Frances was a talented quilter and painter.
Graveside services will be private.
Mrs. Farmer is survived by, her husband, Bill Farmer, daughter, Deborah Ann Lollis of Easley, SC, son, Mike Farmer of Creston, grandchildren, Chris Farmer, David Farmer, Timothy Wayne Denny and Stephen Bryan Denny. 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
